Harts Leavn It All Behind

Melbourne's one-man-band Harts has become a regular on Indie Shuffle over the last year, with three singles from his debut EP Offtime gracing our pages (check them out here). After his funk/disco/pop hybrid stylings received positive reviews and radio play all over the globe, he's wasted no time in keeping the momentum going with a new single "Leavn It All Behind."

The multi-instrumentalist is a young man with an abundance of musical reference points. Rather than trying to jam them all in to a regular length single, he's put together an epic six minute track, full of all our favorite Harts characteristics. His smooth vocals sit perfectly above his musical arrangement, with funky bass and slick percussion, disco-friendly synth lines, and a few perfectly timed guitar explosions providing the perfect platform.

Harts' music hasn't just caught Indie Shuffle's eye either, with Nick Littlemore (Empire of the Sun, PNAU) a big fan. Prince's management also recently got in touch to voice their approval. Currently working on more new material, stay tuned to hear more from this bright talent.
