The description of this track on SoundCloud compares it to what a Jai Paul and Kanye West remix would sound like. This is a great record, and I wouldn't be taking time from my day to cover it if it wasn't, but that seems a bit farfetched to me. Maybe if Jai Paul got on a tune with SBTRKT or Darius, something of this nature would be composed.
All things aside, this icy chill house remix is the perfect solution to this blazing summer heat. Besides the smooth, ambient essence of this remix, the vocal processing on this is phenomenal. Everything about this track -- from the vocals to the bassline to the percussion -- is cohesive. It just works.
One of the key things that intrigues me is this: Love Thy Brother is actually a duo consisting of two brothers. I don't necessarily share that brotherly love with my siblings, but I do respect those who do. The fact that they're able to sit in a studio and not rip each other's heads off is extremely commendable.
