Why do we like this?

This song had my attention from the word "go." And from there it kept me on my toes, with a difficult and interesting melody that twists and turns at each and every opportunity.

In short, this is everything I like to hear from an indie rock song.

"I'm Trying" is set to appear on Harriet's American Appetite, due for release on January 29th via Harvest Records.
