Why do we like this?

So it's been about 15 minutes since I've found  this song, and I'm just sitting here absolutely gobsmacked by the talent on display by 18-year-old Australian Hannah Karydas. Forget New Zealand's Lordes, because there's a new girl in town. And by the sounds of things, she really means business.

"Heavy" is the debut single from the young lass, but as you'll probably soon realize, her songwriting makes it seem like she's a bit of an old soul. You've got to love the powerful folk pop sound being brought to the table, complimented perfectly by Hannah's smokey tones.
