Why do we like this?

HÅN hails from a small town in Italy, nestled up near the northern mountains and guarded by the largest body of water in the country, Lake Garda. Far from the busy streets of city centers, she wanders the landscape of her home with open, spacious tones and echoing beats in her debut, "The Children."

She addresses the conflict between home and the need to move on into the world in this tune, "becoming aware of the oppression of 'the safe place'... It’s a kind of ambivalent feeling of both growing and missing what you leave by living this process."

HÅN mixes the melancholy of her musings with a magical sense of space and a dream-like quality, making for a delicate, yet intense, listen.
