Why do we like this?

There was some rendition of this song that hit the interwebs back in 2012 -- perhaps it was live? You can stream it on YouTube here. But that's not why you're here, is it?

A couple hours ago, HAIM released this brand new (version of a) single called "The Wire." It's a pretty solid indie rock track; heavy on the guitars and light on the synth work (there's certainly some).

In fact, you know what this reminds me of? Shania Twain a la "That Don't Impress Me Much." Seriously.
