While I could be making a huge presumption, I am going to assume most Indie Shuffle readers are fans of Haim. The Californian sisters Este, Danielle and Alana, along with drummer Dash Hutton, have fast made their way into the hearts of indie lovers worldwide with their playful 70s-inspired indie sounds with a scattering of 90s R&B.
Today Glasgow electronic act CHVRCHES covered Haim's "Falling" for BBC's Live Lounge Late, and it's a humdinger! Their version keeps the essence of the original with added computer sounds and electronic synths, with frontwoman Lauren Mayberry's vocals just as sugary as the HAIM sisters. In one word? Brilliant.
