As soon as I heard
Habibi's single "Let Me In," I knew there'd be a comfy place for it on Indie Shuffle.
If the heavy bass intro isn't enough to draw you in, then I think you need to clean the wax outta your ears, sonny (said in an elderly man's voice). The simplistically plucked guitar echoes as the layered vocals smoothly glide along. As the song weaves in and out of hard-hitting gutter pop, I find myself thoroughly enjoying every second. These girls know how to make some sticky sweet post-punk pop. I think I'm in love.
I can't wait to hear more Habibi in all their pop-punk glory!
