Why do we like this?
I initially picked this one up as part of my jazzy beats playlist, but I like it enough that I think it deserves a bit more attention on the site.
There's nothing particularly revolutionary going on with the sound, but I feel like Gustave and Basile Rey have managed to transport me back ~10 years into the past when RJD2 and DJ Shadow were dominating the steam punk vibe that mostly made itself known at Burning Man and Afrikaburn.
Nostalgia aside, I think they've pulled together a lovely, jazzy beats song here, and I hope you'll find yourself in agreement.
