Why do we like this?
Oh, The Irony of a Good Bass.
This is a revamped reimagined and revitalized cover that takes the bass up all the way up.
I wasn't expecting something as immensely affecting as the bass riff being boosted to the max on Gus Dapperton's revitalized version of this track. They take what was an almost melancholic soft pop ballad and made it a joyful burst of rhythm, bass, and all-around energy.
This goes without mentioning, but Gus Dapperton's voice in all its unique sounds, takes this track to the next level, it is however in no way disrespectful to its inspiration and while it is a boosted version, it is in its totality a confident homage to the original.
