Why do we like this?

Wow I love this guy. Gus Dapperton returns with dreamy and dancy vibes on the single from his new EP,You Think You’re a Comic!. This song is the epitome of an indie-pop bop, as are most of his other songs.

From the smooth vocals, the deep bass-line and the hard hitting synths that carry the track forward. The song is just so upbeat and cheery, perfectly displayed by Gus singing “haha haha ha” before the chorus.

This marks Gus’ second EP within the past 6 months, and it leaves me very excited for when he releases a full-length album.
