Why do we like this?

Leave it to Robert Pollard to make me feel relevant. He has been making brilliant, concise indie music for over three decades with Guided By Voices.

The title track from their 80th album, Space Gun, is good, which is unsurprising. I can’t comprehend how a band writes, produces, releases and tours for so many quality albums.


Every album doesn’t make my year end list these days, but every album contains gold, for sure. “Space Gun” is a great track, the album should have several more. Check it out. It may seem like Pollard will be around forever, but he won’t. Don’t sleep too long…
