Los Angeles indie band Grouplove has resurfaced since their debut album Never Trust a Happy Song, which featured the popular hit track "Colours," and are now looking to jump over the sophomore album slump hurdle.
Grouplove's new track, titled "Ways To Go," is another infectious indie pop song that should definitely be seeing plenty of radio time. Maybe it's just me, but I can't help but think of Kurt Cobain when hearing lead singer Christian Zucconi belt out his portion of the song. If the new track is any indication on how the sophomore album will fare, then I think they may be skipping the slump altogether. I'm looking forward to hearing how the rest of the album's tracks turn out!
The track will be featured on Spreading Rumors, which is expected to be officially released September 17, 2013 . In addition to the new track, they have put together a pretty clever music video hinting on the North Korean totalitarian leadership. Check it out below.
