Why do we like this?
Rewind back to September last year, where I was absolutely obsessed by Grouplove's "I'm With You," a single off their sophomore album Spreading Rumors.
More often than not, I've come to expect the unexpected with STRFKR, but I was nonetheless intrigued by the possibility of this song being remixed. Turns out the Portland trio have absolutely knocked this one out of the park. They have given this single all sorts of dance sensibility that I never thought was possible. Bringing forward that quietly under-spoken bassline of the original and transforming it into the crux of this centerpiece was an absolute masterstroke!
