Why do we like this?

As a Los Angeles native who spent the last few years in New York, I look to the American Midwest with equal parts fear and fascination. Lately it's been more of the latter, based solely on all the good stuff I've been hearing that's coming out of Minnesota. 

Greg Grease's "Down So Long" is smooth and mellow but separates itself from other similar rap with its damn fine moments of Spanish guitar. The rest of the album will be out in August, but until then this one will be in my rotation as the perfect song to convince me I should stop chillin' on the couch and at least get up to go chill outside instead – those guitars deserve some sunshine.
