Why do we like this?

Having yet to play a live gig and with no previous releases, Sydney act Green Buzzard has seemingly come from nowhere. Signing to I OH YOU, a label known for supporting local Aussie upstarts, expectations are high for first single, "Zoo Fly," and I'm happy to say they haven't let me down.

Very much inspired by 90s indie, there are similarities between Green Buzzard and label mates DMA's, although "Zoo Fly" is more Blur territory than Oasis.

Twangy guitars, joyous percussion and distorted vocals are all present, but it's the tune's catchy melodies that make "Zoo Fly" stand out.
