Why do we like this?
Contrary to Griff Washburn's chosen alias, Goth Babe's sound is everything but goth. I'm shocked that Goth Babe has yet to be reviewed on Indie Shuffle, and now I must do the Lord's work.
This song has me day-dreaming about driving down the Pacific Coast at sunset with someone I love. Although Griff's tone is melancholic, the airy and dream-like mixture of synths & acoustic guitar create a nostalgic feel.
Goth Babe has a very unique and impressive story. He lives out of his camper, traveling between California and Oregon with his dog. He writes and produces all of his music out of his camper using solar power. How crazy cool is that?
