Why do we like this?
Way back in 2007, Gorillaz released an album titled D-Sides, which included two discs.
The first was compiled of a series of B-sides, from which I am pulling this single "Hong Kong." It's one of the nicer tracks I've heard from the band, though at more than 7 minutes long, it's borderline pushing it.
The second disk included nine remixes from acts such as Souldwax, Hot Chip and Metronomy. The majority were actually pretty tame by modern standards -- perhaps best serving as good benchmarks of how far the remix genre has come in the last 6 years.
Hopefully you enjoy the journey back in time.
