Why do we like this?
Gorillaz release one of many unreleased tracks that will feature on the deluxe vinyl release of Humanz, which is set to include 14 bonus tracks.
Featuring Little Simz, "Garage Palace" moves away from the alt-rock Gorillaz sound and into more of a grime, hip-hop style. Little Simz raps over the track and 2D's vocals don't feature, giving Simz the length of the song to show Gorillaz fans what she's got.
Fans are split down the middle on this one – some love it, some are really not enjoying it. At the end of the day, Gorillaz is an experimental band. Naturally their sound will progress, shift and change with time. We can either hop on board and enjoy the grimy funk, or step off and wait for the next train.
