Buried toward the end of the US Re-Issue of Gorillaz's 2001 self-titled debut is an awesome remix that reminds me a) that summer is approaching and b) that Gorillaz are awesome.
When they burst onto the scene in at the turn of the century, the band took music for a trip, utilizing hip-hop, reggae and punk to create a unique sound completely different to Damon Albarn's prior band, Blur. The world embraced the hell out of it. So did I. And I'm still digging it.
