Melbourne dwellers Stefan Blair and Liam Parsons have been writing music together since meeting back in high school. After combining funds to purchase a Fostex 4-track tape machine, they've begun work on their debut EP, operating under the moniker Good Morning.
The first fruits of their labor are now ready to be shared with the world in the form of their single "Don't Come Home Today." Lazy and sun-drenched, this beachy single is a contradiction of sorts, given it was recorded during Melbourne's dreary winter.
The result is a delightful number highlighted by carefree vocals and some clever guitar arrangement. It's got everything you want out of a slacker pop anthem.
Good Morning's EP is due out November 10 via Solitaire.
