A concept I've had percolating for a little while now is "a feeling for truth." Some people have it, and seek out meaning and experiences that aim to enhance it. Some places have it, and support visitors or inhabitants in coming to feel a sense of ease, peace, and calm. But what is it?
It's near impossible for someone like myself to say what 'truth' is, but I am grateful to have some sort of curiosity regarding it. It's led me on weird and wonderful paths and has given me an appreciation of anything that facilitates a deeper connection or reminder of it.
Good Lee's new album seems to be heading in the direction of such, and "Sol / Inward" is a sonic landscape through which one's being can inch ever closer to truth and meaning. I've had "Two Souls Aligned" on repeat for the last month since its release and with "Turn To Roses" marking three singles off the album so far, the upcoming A World Within album is set to be a reflective sonic journey, inciting a little peace in this upside-down world.
