The Shifting Run
I think it's no coincidence that this track is reminding me of an Olympic sprint in slow motion, with the Olympics being behind us, except it's all electric and neon with a dash of beauty.
It can sometimes be hard for a remix of a song currently competing in the ring to make itself worthy of a listen, and yet GONE has taken a song with a quiet soft pop aesthetic and boosted it into the pantheon of electric runs, synth-wave pulls, and ultimately a full-speed sprint into a zone of pure exhilaration.
I think I'm assimilating into this track and it's beautiful.
