A little over a month ago I picked up on a funky track called "Slow Down." It was my first time covering Anton Borin on the site, but clearly left a strong-enough impression that I'm back for round two.
My initial take on this track was that it was a great, funky and enjoyable piece. And to boot, I thought it was original, because it was titled "Anton Borin - You." Good thing I did a bit of research, because once the vocals kick in there's no denying this is in fact a remix of Goldroom's "Embrace."
Unfortunately I fell for the trick last time with "Slow Down." What I thought was an original track turned out to be a remix of Ciara's "Body Party."
Does this piss me off? You bet it does! Anton goes so far as to credit the photographer responsible for his artwork, but he doesn't give a nod to Goldroom for providing the backing to his track. Lucky for him it's still a pretty solid piece, so I'm sharing it on that principle alone. And, I'm retagging it for him.
