Why do we like this?
All Weighed Down by The Campfire
A super chillwave collaboration between Golden Vessel, Mallrat, and Emerson Leif feels like a bunch of friends reminiscing on hardships.
"Pocket Full of Rocks" has many voices to it and because of that exact reason, it feels like the new age equivalent of a campfire song — a bunch of people sitting around a mic and just exorcising their thought on life, moments, hardships, and lessons.
It's a chillwave soundbite through and through, but it's the multiple voices and the general layering of these characters over each other that makes it so calming and yet enjoyable.
