Among the ridiculous amount of talent coming out of Canada these days we have producer Mathieu Bonin, aka WYLN, a Montreal artist signed to Saintwoods, premiering for the first time here on Indie Shuffle.
Bonin's steady releases of impressive productions have generated him a solid fanbase in the Montreal, with a niche centered around his knack for perfectly combining futuristic sounds and delicate melodies, both of which are clearly incorporated into his newest remix of the Goldboc track "Days Are Dreaming."
"I was into the original and I really wanted to keep it smooth so to me Rhodes chords were a perfect choice for this one," Bonin stated "I like to pitch vocals up so I started from there and then built around it."
WYLN credits his inspiration to artists like Ta-ku, Mr. Carmack, Sango, and the like, stating, "I would say the whole Soulection crew. Their sound is just so on point and on a level of greatness i'd like to reach someday."
Keep it up, Bonin. We think you've got a pretty good shot.
