Leaps and bounds ahead of so many of their peers, Melbourne electronic duo Godwolf has just released their new single "Resist," and it's the perfect way to kick off your weekend.
Opening with a hazy synthetic rhythm, the track quickly blooms out into an soul-filled, earthly atmosphere. With rich, endlessly warm vocals, the velvety tone really complements the heady electro beat building below.
The pair, Tom and Joe, reportedly wrote the track in the "shell" of Joe's childhood house, which was bare except for a grand piano. Situated in the remote town of Nagambie, Victoria, the isolated environment really let them explore and develop their gorgeous sound.
Set to release their debut EP later this year, I'm really excited about what's to come for Godwolf. Keep an eye out for new releases via etcetc Music.
