Why do we like this?
Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Glom are a new indie rock act set for big things in 2019.
Debut single "Tell Me Who To Be" is a cathartic melding of catchy guitar riffs, driving percussion and dynamic synth lines. This fuzzy dose of modern indie rock harks back to an earlier time, yet still manages to sound unique and fresh. Speaking on the track band member Sean Christian explains:
The song’s simple vocal idea is molded through different chord harmonies to illustrate the shift into introspective progress.
It's very much a song about reflection and growth wrapped up in a neat little shoegaze bow. Wonderful.
