Glass Animals' latest album How to be a Human Being has been out for months, yet they are still delighting everyone with catchy single after single. While their latest “Pork Soda” does have a similar sound to the rest of the tracks on the album, I’m not complaining.
Laced with the typical eccentricity Glass Animals brings to much of their music, "Pork Soda" goes so far to have a weird title that makes me gag a little. Again, I’m not complaining, because I really enjoy everything else about it. With the chorus featuring lyrics like “Pineapples are in my head,” it’s one of those songs where you find yourself singing along without actually understanding what is coming out of your mouth.
The band also launched an interactive site to pair with the song, filled with fictional infomercials narrated by the band members. Check it out here.
