Sounds like:
Super Mash Bros.,
E-603,
The Hood Internet
Why do we like this?
One way to raise eyebrows on the internet is to mash up a number of independently successful artists into a solid track that brings together the best of each world. Another way to raise eyebrows on the internet is to then give away that album for free. Greg Gillis, the man behind Girl Talk, has successfully employed both tactics in his release of All Day.
The album is his fifth, featuring 12 separate tracks and 372 overlapping samples of other artists' songs. Understandably, Girl Talk requests that we listen to this album as a whole, rather than bit by bit. For sake of making things easier, however, he has been kind enough to break it down into more manageable pieces :-)
