Why do we like this?
There's something about this track that somehow takes me back to the good old Saddlecreek Records days. I'm not entirely sure which band it reminds me of, but the raw emotion and passion are certainly there.
Gillbanks are a duo out of the UK, hailing from the beautiful city of Falmouth (okay, I've never been there, I have no clue). They're clearly a long shot off from London, though, because "Anxious?" manages to skirt a lot of the fancy blips and bloops that are being injected by modern production techniques.
What's left is a grungy alternative track that probably won't win them any awards, but certainly sits comfortably for me.
