Why do we like this?

The best loves are the ones you never forget. And that's perfectly okay. 

Maybe we should teach that to one another more often. Maybe we should repeat it to one another until society accepts it as the normal thing to do. The normal way to simply—be!

"Better Off This Way" feels something like that, to me. It feels like refusing to forget great love. Refusing for life to erase it from mattering. 

Great vocal, powerful writing, a solid performance palpably felt from the most visceral places. Gianni's pen game deserves a nod of approval from every influencer on the blogosphere. 

I hope you think as highly of it, too.
