Why do we like this?

There's a fair bit of buzz going on about a new band called Yuma X and their cover of Ghoul's "Swimming Pool." Lots of people are blogging it, but the more I listen to it the more bored I get.

So, I decided to see what the original was all about. And boy, was it a treat!

I've struggled a bit to track down information on the release, but based on this review, the song was included on short-length album titled A Mouthful Of Gold (and by short I mean its 9 tracks only last 19 minutes).

Bottom line: this is a hidden gem from way back when, and I'm glad I discovered it now -- even if it is 7 years later.
