Ghostpoet Meltdown (Ashworth Remix)

Introducing Joe Ashworth, the winner of Ghostpoet's remix competition for his take on "Meltdown." The Bournemouth-born Londoner is a producer and engineer who splits his time between creating audio for films, playing DJ sets across Europe, and jointly hosting London's monthly party, Vikings.

This is a great remix of Ghostpoet's track; it maintains its chilled nature with a subtle techno beat and soft emergence of a dub baseline, yet is unique in its own right, managing to be quite different from Ghostpoet's original version.

I often like to think about the context of music and where I've heard it, or would like to hear it, and I think Ashworth's remix will be the perfect backdrop to my approaching summer vacation.
