Why do we like this?

Three things happened when I listened through this song for the first time: (1) I rocked my head in sincere jubilation. (2) My mood improved immediately. (3) I Googled Gigamesh and Ghost Beach.

Here's what I learned...

Matt Masurka is a Minneapolis-based DJ who goes by the moniker Gigamesh. This dude not only makes sweet remixes, but he's also a multi-platinum producer. A little story: he happened to be on the boards for a song you may remember about a guy who has issues with girls wearing designer sunglasses.

As for Ghost Beach, I'd try, but am not gonna top Jason's explanation of who they are.  So if you don't know and are interested, you should check out his post from almost one year ago about the original track "Miracle." Quick background? They delivery bump-worthy trop-pop straight from my home and the most tropical place in the world (not): New York City.

Enjoy this one. You deserve it.
