Why do we like this?

Danish artist/producer Gettic is out with his debut single "Sleepwalking" featuring 19 year old singer-songwriter Clairity, a protege of Kesha's mom, Pebe Sebert, and a co-writer on Kesha's last album. Previously Getti produced and remixed several Danish and international artists like Anya and Ed Drewett. 

"I feel asleep on the couch/ the night I lost your love," begins the song. The track captures the end of a relationship and exudes a wonderful, almost calming numbness. You can practically taste the smoky nihilism inside the European club playing this. Gettic is a steady hand behind Clairity's vocals. It's casual pop instincts convey a sad, dispassionate yearning cloaked within "Sleepwalking"'s lumbering spirit. 

"You fuck like a lover," hisses the song's chorus, one of its peak moments. (And I love those finger snaps.)

"Sleepwalking" was recorded in Gettic's studio in central Copenhagen.
