Why do we like this?
Much-loved Melbourne eccentric Geoffrey O'Connor is back with "Jacqueline," the follow-up to his acclaimed solo debut, 2011's Vanity Is Forever.
Inspired by retro luminaries such as New Order and Roxy Music, "Jacqueline" is an elegant, romantic number, full of the types of brooding synths, glittery arpeggios, and explosive drums that Geoffrey has become known for.
Geoffrey's new solo album is due out in 2014, as well as the long-awaited return of his "euphoric pop" band the Crayon Fields. He'll be hitting the States in October for some solo shows at CMJ, and you would be mad to miss them.
