Why do we like this?

It's been a while since I've heard such a fun, sparky tune like this. It's glorious, it's funky, and I am so happy to share it here today.

Formerly known as the frontwoman of Company of Thieves, L.A.-based Genevieve is set to release her debut solo EP, Show Your Colours, early next year.

Opening straight into a huge chorus, the beat is wickedly catchy and the glistening rhythms are all kinds of fun. Heading down into each verse, there's something so genuine and bright about this tune, despite the 90s-pop vibe to it all. "Colours" manages to escape that nostalgic feeling, though, settling instead for something completely invigorating, like a breath of refreshingly pure air. 

This is one hell of a feel-good song. I've had it on repeat for a couple days now and I have a feeling you will be too.

Show Your Colours drops on March 10, 2015 via Wind-Up Records.
