Generationals have just dropped two singles leading up to their new album, Reader As Detective-- their first full length album since 2014, though they've been steadily releasing singles.
"Breaking Your Silence" is one of these new tracks, and it perfectly encapsulates sunny summer vibes, with washed-out vocals and tropical drums. They're the embodiment of indie pop -- catchy hooks, with some interesting instrumentation thrown in here and there. They also describe themselves as new-wave, and it's not hard to hear the '80s influences in the production.
Their new album is coming out July 19th, right in time to slide onto summer barbecue playlists.
