If you know Gary Clark Jr. you will know he is an exceptional blues guitarist who is constantly developing and advancing his song writing. This new single is no exception.
"This Land" takes his musical career in a more contemporary and politically charged direction while remaining true to his traditional blues roots.
"This Land" kicks off with a heavy and dirty filtered synthesizer riff soon met with Gary's trademark guitar tone that cuts through the mix in an effortless fashion. The track features a driving tempo with a funky edge to it that complements the soaring guitar work in a style that almost adds a second voice to the track.
