Although it's been almost two years since blues rocker Gary Clark Jr. released his Grammy-nominated debut
Blak And Blu, it seems the Texan isn't done with the project just yet, having announced
Blak And Blu: The Mixtape. While there is no word on a release date, Clark has revealed the album will feature collaborations with talented folk such as Erykah Badu, Bilal, Jill Scott, Robert Glasper, and Talib Kweli.
The first taste of the mixtape is the remix of "Blak And Blu," featuring Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T. Clark hasn't altered the original tracks instrumentation, he's just got K.R.I.T. to add a verse -- and his Southern style suits Clark's meddling blues perfectly.
