Why do we like this?

Towards the end of 2013, L.A. by way of NYC singer Gallant dropped a couple of mesmerizing singles ("Manhattan" and "Forfeit"). Since then, he's gone on somewhat of a hiatus, but today he's reappeared with the dynamic "Open Up."

The genre-defying tune combines elements of experimental electronica, lo-fi R&B, and dreamy pop, with Gallant's captivating and soulful vocals absolutely stunning. LA's Stint handles production duties, creating an engaging platform for Gallant's heart wrenching vocals, with "Open Up" being his best release to date.
