New York producer Galcher Lustwerk is quickly establishing a reputation for two main reasons. First, because his records go for so much money (they're very limited supply and very high demand). And second, as the high demand attests to, he's got some great tracks.
"I Neva Seen," which was released earlier this year, is one of his best yet. It's a perfect example of the very singular sound that GL has carved out for himself, whereby spoken vocals are layered over relatively simple, and rather somber, beats. It makes for an enchanting sound, and has seen some describing the Brooklyn based producer as the "Drake of house music."
As previously alluded to, if you want a copy on vinyl it's going to cost you a pretty penny. You can pick one up in the Discogs marketplace. If you're happy for a digital copy, simply head over to Galcher's Bandcamp page.
