Why do we like this?

When I received this submission on SubmitHub, the similar artists listed included Elliott Smith. I'm not really sure how that matches, but... I suppose it's irrelevant.

Gaëtan Streel is a Belgian artists with a relatively small social following but a pretty strong potential. Which is kinda cool, because it means -- at least from an international perspective -- that we're one of the first blogs to champion his sound.

For context, this one was released back in August of last year via JauneOrange.
