Why do we like this?

Gabrielle Current, a young vocalist from Los Angeles, CA, fills out her new single “Plenty” with some spectral vocals and bittersweet verses about picking yourself up and carrying on after a romance has faded. Steadily dancing guitars, ephemeral keys, and a plush rhythm section accompany the aspiring pop-soul singer’s melancholically beautiful voice.

The production choices from producer, Austin Daniel Brown, help to give the track a good measure of soul-steeped weightiness. This is the sort of relaxed and laid-back track that makes those coffee-house themed playlists the perfect thing to curl up to on a rainy fall day.
