Why do we like this?
I've always been a fan of Gabriel Garzón-Montano, and the interesting way he creates music while still maintaining soulful, unique sounds and concepts.
With albums such as Childish Gambino's Awaken, My Love setting a trend of the slightly left of centre becoming the new "pop," I'm excited to see where Garzón-Montano's career takes him.
The album is a pleasing mix of funk, pop, and soul, effortlessly fusing his production and songwriting skills into something which warms your soul. Crawl is yet another taste of his upcoming album, Jardin, which comes on the heels of three intense years of touring, writing and recording.
