Catch me off guard, but do so pleasantly. That's exactly what Young Gerald and Mr. Christoph Andersson did to some of us today.
Must Be Twice is a collection of remixed songs, all from G-Eazy's most recent album Must Be Nice. At the hands of New Orleans-based producer and remix connoisseur Christoph Andersson, songs like "Lady Killers," "Hello," "Mad," and "Marilyn" get straight chopped like garlic in an Italian family's kitchen. Using a recipe of synth-loops, snare drums, ambient sounds, and miscellaneous swag, we've been served a dish that is smooth, gangster, and delicious.
I could've posted any one of the five free-for-download bangers, but I chose to provide one which definitely brings the heat. "Lady Killers II" has an infectious beat, and G spits a round of new verses which really give this song a fresh new vibe.
