Sounds like:
Deadmau5,
Owl Vision,
Futurecop!
Why do we like this?
While Futurecop!'s original version of "Starworshipper" has an undeniably uplifting 80s pop sound (that's their gig, right?), Owl Vision has taken the liberty to turn it into a banger worthy of an electronic dance party. All it took was stronger bass and a little womp womp wobble to complete the 180-degree turnaround.
The remix comes as part of a contest hosted by Futurecop!, who have posted the original parts of their song on Soundcloud for the brave to grab. It's somewhat interesting to hear each and every element broken out. For example, there's so much auto-tune on the vocals that I kinda want to barf hearing them alone. While they actually fit well with the original song, it's very little surprise that Owl Vision excluded them. Perhaps that'll be the defining factor that gives his song a win.
