In the US this Thursday, people will be celebrating Thanksgiving— a holiday that will have folks in food comas, and leave some dealing with frustrating, uncomfortable discussions about why they're still single.
For me, I'll be trying to explain to my family what I'm doing with my life on the other side of the country. To counteract all of the emotions provoked by this gluttonous holiday, I'll be listening to a lot of fairly minimal music to relax.
The meditative sound design on "Emerald Luminance" is backed by a dissonant vocal that is perfectly paired with the distorted bass, leaving you feeling a sense of comfort and escape from reality. My only qualms with the track is the fade-out outro, however, that's only because I wish this track had another minute to it, but that just leaves me hitting play on it over and over.
