Why do we like this?
I know I can always count on the Fruit Bats for fun approaches to folk rock. I'm especially looking forward to their upcoming LP, Tripper, which drops this August on Sub Pop.
My anticipation for this album has been steadily growing as I listen to "WACS," a track that actually will not be appearing on the album, but is a collaboration with fellow Sub Pop-er J. Mascis.
Mascis adds a delicious Laurel Canyon vibe to their sound, resulting in a catchy, sunshiney tune rife with guitar work that would make the Allman Brothers proud.
